Education &
Consulting
NECREM delivers fire, rescue, EMS, leadership, clinical, and instructor development programs for local, national, and international audiences. Founded in 2009 and directed by Rom Duckworth.
What NECREM does
Conference and event education
Keynotes, general sessions, breakout programs, and workshop days drawn from a catalog of 57 programs across clinical, operational, educational, and leadership domains. Programs are customized to the focus, theme, or concern of your event, and can be combined into multi-session tracks.
Agency and department programs
On-site education for career, volunteer, and combination departments, hospital-based services, and private providers. Sessions are built for mixed audiences so that EMTs, paramedics, officers, and chiefs each leave with something they can act on.
Curriculum and program development
Competency-based program design, instructor resources, simulation, webinars, and learning management content. Prior work includes the Connecticut Office of EMS instructor trainer redesign, Sepsis: First Response, Pediatric Sepsis: First Response, and hospital and municipal learning management systems.
Advisory work
Clinical quality improvement, officer development pathways, education program review, and translating national guidance into practice a working agency can actually adopt.
