Fiscal challenges and advances in technology are just two big reasons that leaders in emergency services must know the six steps to facilitate and manage change for the advancement of their profession. Emergency service organizations today are facing perhaps their greatest test, managing the change essential to adopting the tactics, technology, and leadership styles necessary to meet the challenges of the future while, at the same time, retaining the history and traditions that are critical to both our identity and function. This program uses organizational and individual case studies to identify both missteps and mastery in organizational change and walks attendees through each part of the six-step process of managing the changes necessary for success in their own organizations.
